Today, I’ d like to share you a piece of origin information on 2018 new crop mung beans:

After it rained last week, the new crop mung beans have been planted in the most ares of main origin(Like: Tongliao, Tuquan, Taonan, Tongyu, Lindong, Zalute, Xinganmeng…). If it rains before Jun 20, the farmers will also choose to grow mung beans. But if there is still no rain, they will choose to grow buckwheat instead of mung beans, and this will cause decrease in output. The accurate data on planting area will be updated until the end of June.

About the 2018 new crop plant area, the planted area for shine skin new crop goes down around one-third compared with last year, the farmer prefer to plant corn and soybean to get more profit in this year. Based on the present situation of the plant area and the good harvest in last year, it seems that if the weather is good, the quantity of shine skin new crop will be smaller than last year. We estimate the price for the new crop will increase a little.

For the old stock, even though the market has calmed down in recent days, but with the reducing of the plant area, people estimate the price for new crop will increase. So that the price of old stock start increasing too, we think if there are some requirements in your market, it might be a good chance to start purchase.
