Last week, both domestic and Myanmar mung bean price are showing a steady trend. Recently due to the Myanmar New Year, the importing mung beans arrives in China port quite less. But in origin, there are quite large quantity of low quality green mung to sell. Thus, when market needs for mung beans is limited and the price did not show much differ than before.
Especially in April,when domestic temperature is not too high,thus market need to green mung is stable. On one hand, sprouting quality mostly supply to old customers and price is relatively weak and stable. On the other hand, low prices food quality mung beans attract more customers.
However,we estimate that in the later 2 months, when the temperature is higher and higher, domestic market need for green mung for both food quality and sprouting quality may arise. And thus, this may bring new changes in the mung bean market.
